Since 1974, Demisas has been working to raise the standards in the world casting market. Today, it has become one of the leading companies of European foundry industry with 130 thousand square meter production facilities in Bilecik and new management center in Darica Kocaeli. Demisas has reached production capacity of 80 thousand tons per annum today with its investments since 1990 in the direction of its growth strategy. As the milestones of this growth, Demisas started to produce refrigerator compressors in 1989, automotive parts in 1994, brake safety parts in 2001 and heavy vehicle brake parts in 2010. Meanwhile, in 1997 Demisas decided to strengthen its market position by opening to public and its shares started to be traded on the Istanbul Stock Exchange. Today, thanks to its reputation and reliability, it cooperates with Demisas for all types of gray, ductile and vermiculous casting needs of the European automotive industry including all well-known brands, original equipment manufacturers and primary suppliers, wide range of brake and safety parts. In addition to producing casting parts using the most advanced technological facilities, Demisas can present its products to customers as of 2012 and create added value. Today, Demisas is the first and only European Foundry to be awarded TPM Excellence Continuity Award by JIPM.
