Sefik ICTEN, founder of our company, began his working life as a locksmith and repairman at Sehzadebasi Kemalpasa Fevziye Bazaar on 15.03.1945 and registered for Istanbul Chamber of Merchants at the same time. In the upcoming period, Sefik ICTEN and his wife Omruye ICTEN included bag pieces, underwear buckles, other metal parts and accessories into his range of products and produced them. The company was founded on 22.04.1977 in Capa as ICTEN SANAYI ve TICARET Kolektif Sirketi, SEFIK ICTEN ve Ogullari. In addition to its own operations, the company served as a sub-industry firm for T.D.D.F. A.S. (Koc Holding). This company was shut down on 31.12.1981 and turned into a limited company. Our firm’s title became ICTEN METAL SANAYI VE TICARET LIMITED SIRKETI on 08.01.1982. It was moved to Gunesli Bagcilar Istanbul in 1987. The company currently operates on a 12.000 m2 indoor area at Hadimkoy Omerli in partnership of Celal ICTEN and Ayhan ICTEN.
