Antioch was an ancient Greco-Roman city on the eastern side of the Orontes River and one of the earliest centers of Christianity. Antioch soap is the origin of Aleppo soap which is famous all over the world with trade mark "Aleppo Soap". Untill 1938 Antakya(Antioch) was part of Aleppo city in Syria and at that time it was the center of hand made soap production. Laurel soap is registered as “Regional Handicrafts”, means this soap can be only produced in Hatay region and based on specified traditional technics&ingredients. Our products can have special label because of geographic location. Our facility is in a village which is famous for olive oil and laurel berry oil productions. Moreover the best laurel berry oil is produced in our village and nearby villages. We do source best quality oils from locals and support villagers also. We do use only local vegetable oils.
