The foundations of the Cavusoglu Group of Companies were laid in 1969 as a local family business by the name Cavusoglu Petrol in the fuel sector in SAMSUN, the largest city in the Black Sea region in terms of population and economy. Cavusoglu Petrol continued its commercial activities with a stable line until 1999. In 1999, Gurkan Cavus, one of the family members, left the family company and engaged in wholesale fuel trade between 1999 and 2005. In 2005, taking into consideration the needs of the city and the developments in the retail fuel market, it took a step into the retail fuel sector by purchasing a fuel station in a central part of the city. Cavusoglu Companies continuing their activities with an upward trend in the fuel sector until 2010 and in 2010 strengthened its power by investing in three different sectors: Concrete Batching Plant, Quarry and Logistics. In 2016, the Company continued its investments with one quarry in Tekkekoy and three fuel stations in Samsun. 2017 was the brightest year of its commercial life for the Cavusoglu Group of Companies. Firstly, it opened a gas station in Batumi / Georgia. Later on, the Company continued to invest in 2017 by opening a fuel station on the road connecting Samsun province center to the Industrial Zone. The company continued its investments in 2017 with a company operating in the Mining, Construction and Fuel sectors under the title of Vekoil in Moscow, the capital of the Russian Federation. In the same year, Cavusoglu Group of Companies started to wholesale cement trade by investing in cement sector which is one of the locomotive materials of construction sector. In the first days of 2018, Cavusoglu Group of Companies making every investment with great enthusiasm regardless of the economic factors will invest with the same enthusiasm.
