The family farm, Terra Mia is located on a promontory deep in the hills between Pistoia and Lucca and it has a beautiful view of the Montecatini and Monsummano hills. Terra Mia is 3 miles (5 km) from these two thermal spring towns, 25 miles (40 km) from Florence and Pisa, 13 miles (20 km) from Lucca, 6 miles (10 km) from Pistoia, 31 miles (50 km) from the Abetone Mountains and 25 miles (40 km) from the seaside at Versilia. All are easy day excursions. Terra Mia sets on 8 acres of natural forest with hiking trails, in a micro climate that includes citrus and palm trees joined with biologic/organic productions fed from natural spring water. The accommodations consist of two apartments with a separate entrance. "La Vigna" is a studio with a double bed and a sitting room that can accommodate 2 more people (the 4th person must be under 12 years of age), the bathroom is designed with facilities for the disabled and also there is a ramp to access the house & room. A garden for the guests of "La Vigna" dominates with a fantastic view of the hills. "L’Albicocco" has two rooms for a total of 4 beds, a bathroom and a kitchen to prepare breakfast or a quick snack. The influence of the environment is ensured by construction of walls that are lined with the original local stone. And there are thermal chimneys to keep the full ecological impact to the environment For both housing there is a wide panoramic terrace for breakfast. We can provide a full America/English breakfast with eggs, ham, jams, yogurt, cakes and sweet bread, of our product, in addition to the typical drinks. For those staying in the “L’Albicocco” this breakfast can be had for an additional fee. Our accommodation is completed by the weekly change of towels and bed or as necessary. A TV is available on request as well as a connect to the Internet. The all-inclusive is in the price of the accommodations. The laundry, ironing, cleaning of the rooms are to be agreed from time to time. The restaurant area is a common area as the terrace where lunches and dinners are based on typical Tuscan dishes made with organic products grown by us. In our restaurant we can seat 30 clients also just for a meal. An old Vineyard produces a delicious wine that is vinified in our cellar directly to preserve the typical seasonal year. We are pleased to welcome our customers, also in English language, on their arrival at the airport at Pisa or Florence, or railway stations of Pisa, or Florence and Montecatini Terme-Monsummano just on prior notice. The building is inhabited by our family and therefore the reception is 24 hours. We have a parking lot which paths branches off for walking on wooded property ( for about 2 miles). We have a natural Solarium immersed in silence . You can appreciate this also in the winter time. With the sea to the south and the north mountains, preventing the cold winds, make our microclimate unique Pets are welcome on prior notice to arrange adequate space for them.
