ALIM Group was founded in 2001 in Istanbul by Mr. Naser ALIM, who currently holds the presidency of Turkey – Montenegro Business Council, which is under the umbrella of DEIK Foreign Economic Relations Board. The target of ALIM GROUP was to export wood-based panels (MDF, Particle Board, Laminate Flooring, Doorskin, worktops and similar products) for furniture and construction industry to Balkan Countries. In 2004, Alim Group started selling Kastamonu Entegre’s products, one of the world's leading wood-based panel manufacturers, in this region. In 2010, Alim Group acquired Boyut Plastik, which produces edgebanding for the furniture sector. Today, with more than 200 employees, the company carries out its sales activities on closed areas 12 thousand m2 in Bar city of Montenegro, 2 thousand m2 in Belgrade city of Serbia and 2 thousand m2 in Skopje city of Macedonia. The new and modern building in Istanbul with a closed area of 16.500 m2 serves as head office for administrative activities, and edge band production facility. Alim Group has achieved a rapid growth momentum thanks to its expertise in the region and sectoral knowledge. Founded in 2005. Boyut Plastik produces edge band in PVC, ABS, 3D and Platinum categories in its modern and high technology production facility in lstanbul with a capacity of 8 thousand tons annually and exports half of its production to more than 50 countries. Boyut Plastik aims to 25% market share in Turkey, and to enter the top 5 among European companies in the edgeband business. Alim Group is a distributor with one of the strongest distribution networks in the Balkan region in its sector.
