Murat Mihladiz established his Caper Research and Development Center in Burdur in 1995. Since then his work has led to the creation of a number of unique Caper based products, of which Caper Jam, Caper Marmalade, Caper watermelon in brine, Caper brunch pickle and Caper Paste are the first of their kind in the world. Two of these products, jam and marmalade have been granted world wide patents. Murat Mihladiz`s products are marketed under the brand name Asci Murat (Chef Murat) and all are made from natural ingredients, with no artificial additives or preservatives It is the aim of the Asci murat company to introduce the uniq tastes and many health benefits of the caper plant to the whole world. The ongoing R & D programme will ensure many more new products in the future.
