BATMAN FOREIGN TRADE LTD Our company was established in Istanbul in 1989 as a private company and gained its legal identity and corporate structure in 1995 under the name of Batman Dis Tic. Ltd. Sti as a result of its achievements and breakthroughs in its field of activity. Our company mainly deals with the business of fresh fruits and vegetables and carries out export operations from Bursa, Manisa, and Mersin regions and especially from Antalya. Batman Export purchased a land in Antalya Altinova, which is the address of our current headquarters now, in 1995 to establish facilities. The company built its enclosed facilities on the land, the area of which is 1900 m², in the same year. Our company has relocated to Antalya from Istanbul due to its developing business potential. Currently, the company is continuing its investments in the same facilities and growing increasingly. The company purchased 3 refrigerated trailer trucks in 2003 within the context of its growth strategy, so that it has taken a further step towards becoming an integrated plant. Due to the fact that Turkey is in the way of accession to the EU and considering the climatic conditions of our region as well, the company tends toward corporate investments and building modern facilities. Thus, the company has acquired a land of 300 acres in the province of Afyonkarahisar and established gardens and greenhouse facilities. Our agriculture and export business is taking firm strides towards becoming a leader and the largest company in the region. Our packaging plant is capable of meeting all kinds of demand from both domestic and overseas markets. Crops are packaged in our plant in compliance with international standards and offered to exportation. The company exports fresh fruits and vegetables mainly from Antalya, since Antalya is more developed in terms of fresh fruits and vegetables and offers a wide diversity of crops. The mission of our company is exportation, while it sells crops to foreign markets. The company has reached a top position in the region in terms of fresh fruits and vegetables exportation. Batman Export contributes to the economy of the country by its exportation performance. The export markets of our company are the Russian Federation, Poland, Moldova, Bulgaria, Greece, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Belarus, Albania, Slovenia, Latvia, Croatia, Estonia, Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Serbia and Montenegro, and Macedonia. Batman Export exports citrus fruits procured from the Adana-Mersin and Fethiye regions. Furthermore, the company exports grapes from its facilities in Manisa Alasehir region. The primary objective of our company is to ensure that the products reach the consumer seamlessly, which are packaged in our EU-standard facilities by using Modern Agricultural technologies within the context of a production strategy intended to protecting human health. All our products are in compliance with the GLOBAL-GAP certification recognized by the consumers in domestic and foreign markets.
