Batusan Makina Sanayi Ticaret A.S., has been established in 1978 by Mr. Ayhan TUREMEN (died in 2002) to produce water, steam and gas armatures in Turkey. It is in Dilovasi area (approx. 60 km. on the way to Izmit from Istanbul) and has 7000 m² closed area.
It is the first ′Steel Steamtrap′ manufacturing company in Turkey that this led Batusan to be the leading company in its sector. The natural outcome of this has been getting the greatest market share in domestic market.
Batusan has added “Fire Safe Ball Valves” and the “Check Valves” made of steel into its production range. Strainers, Flow-Scopes, Steel fittings and flanges have proceeded the production of Fire Safe Valves and Check Valves.
Some quality certificates have also been obtained to certify the quality. These are ISO 9000, TUV firesafe certificate (according to BS 6755 T 2 and ISO 10497) for the fire safe ball valves, TA-Luft environment protection, TSE (Turkish Standarts Conformity), CE (Conformity European Standarts - directive 97/23/EC) and so on.
Our test procedure applied during production are uniqe and different than our competitors. Tests are executed electronically with PLC controlled high pressured hydrostatic test machines and leakage tests are also done by the PLC Controlled leakage test machines. That is we can check 3 millibar while some of our competitors can check 6-7 millibar in water by watching bubbles only.
Since 1978, Batusan has been continuously developed and is ready to open to the world markets by its quality, capacity and by its qualified team which is the most important of them.
