Established in 1974, Beijing Institute of Opto-Electronic Technology is not only one of the key research institutes in Beijing, but also is a national high-tech enterprise. It is the vice chairman member of China Optics and Optoelectronics Manufactures Association (COEMA): home to Beijing Optical Society.
