Bilsan Veneer, Inc. is a growing, multi-faceted wood vencer manufacturer and exporter. It was founded in I960 by Suavi Bilir and originally named Bilsan Veneers, Hardwood Lumber and Flooring Products. In its early years, Bilsan Veneers, Inc. served the industry as a hardwood lumber and flooring manufacturer at our current Duzce /Turkey location. In the mid sixties the sawmill steadily expanded and soon became a well-known leading hardwood lumber and wood-flooring manufacturer. In the early seventies, the plant site was expanded to 55(H) m2 including 800 m2 under roof. In 1980 a new production line, which is our current production of veneer, was added. Lumber and wood flooring operations were discontinued in the following year. In the nineties, as the company grew, the plant site was enlarged to 16.500 m2 including 3800 m2 under roof. Bilsan Veneers. Inc. now has about 5000 m2 under roof. With more than 50 employees our yearly veneer production capacity is more than 5.000.0(H) m2.
