BioGen Medical Instruments Inc. was founded by Mrs. Havva Erkan and Dr. Sanli Erkan in Istanbul - Turkey, in 1997. Its name is formed by 'Bio' from biology and 'Gen' from genetics. BioGenhas gained its rightful place in the Turkish market in a very short period with the help of Havva Erkan's experience in the health sector. Sanli Erkan's medical background combined with a dynamic staff gave its fruits and constant growth is achieved. BioGen's mission is to provide in vitro diagnostic and research products (antibodies, kits, instruments) to the Turkish health market in order to protect human life. BioGen's existence and growth continues with this objective.BioGenco-operates with medical academicians and supports them to participate in scientific meetings & congresses. BioGen is participating in annual international health fairs such as Medica and to related congresses in order to learn about the advancements in the health sector. Annual distributor meetings are also a perfect chance for sharing market experience and finding solutions to common problems. New distributorship agreements are signed and the product range is expanded during these meetings. BioGen has formed an interconnected network of 'Local Dealers' to be able to reach its customers as quick as possible. At the beginning of 2004,BioGenopened its 'Ankara Connection Office' in the very center of the capital city of Turkey. The restoration of the 'Head Office' in Istanbul is completed, with the aim of increasing the efficiency of the employees.BioGen's Web Site is also redesigned to reflect the dynamic portrait of the company.
