"As in the other sectors Office Furniture sector has always been in a development and renovation process. Especially in the last years the developed manufacturing technology quickened this process. But the economic situation of Turkey and the competition conditions is one of the reason of market shrinkage. As Erdem Mobilya we took steps through our targets to increase our market share and for this we improved the production infrastructure. The first step of this was the new production facility in 2006 in Istanbul Kirac on 12000m2 area and we renewed our machinery with the latest technology. Secondly, to be competitive in local and foreign markets the products needed to be innovative and unique design with competitive prices. For this we have our own R&D design staff. The youngest member of Erdem Family, Melih Erdem (19) goes to Politecnico Di Milano in Italy to carry the vision to tomorrow. For the third step Erdem Mobilya gives so much attention to dealership system and continues to set up a substructure.
