ELSAN HAMMADDE SANAYII A.S., a company within the Elginkan Community was founded in Istanbul Kartal Maltepe in 1969 as a foundry performing brass sand casting. ELSAN A.S. started brass rod production in 1971. It increased its capacity with the Continuous Casting Line established in 1976. It commissioned its new facility in Manisa Organized Industrial Zone in 1990 by concentrating its works towards automatization. Continuing its investments towards development, ELSAN A.S. commissioned in 1995 it’s second fully computer controlled casting line in order to increase the capacity of its Continuous casting line. It started ingot brass production for low pressure casting systems in 2000. ELSAN A.S. always keeps productivity increase in the first place while continuing its investments towards improvement and automatization.
