GVD was founded in 2003 with a vision of becoming a world-wide brand in low-voltage switchboard systems. GVD provides services to the foremost companies in the sectors of construction and electrics. With its involvement in power plants, transportation, industrial plants, hospitals, airports, certified buildings, port and marine projects and with low-voltage switchboard systems, it is on its way to become a global brand. GVD began producing its own boards in 2007 and does its production in modern facilities in a total of sixteen thousand square metres with advanced production machinery. In 2011, GVD started to manufacture Turkey's first locally produced withdrawable MCC panels and it is among the few companies that manufacture withdrawable MCC panels to international standards. As a result of long-term research and development, GVD invested in a Roll-Form Line and started the production of specially designed closed-type profile that consists of 27 bendings. With this profile design, GVD has a more rigid, durable and aesthetic product structure in its modular low-voltage distribution systems. As a company who knows the significance of certification, GVD has given importance to certification process since it was founded and has the ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001, CE, GOST, TSE and FULL TYPE TEST certificates that are required by the sector and products. GVD has got Type Test Certificate according to IEC 61439-2 standards for 6300 A, 120 kA / 1 sec., 65 kA / 3 sec in the production of Form 4B category for all types. GVD panels also sucessfully passed internal arc and seismic tests and certified accordingly. Its expertised and experienced engineer staff offers its customers the most appropriate solutions according to their demands and provides any kind of technical support that customers may need in the stages of project design, production, testing and commissioning.
