Harput Tekstil Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Sirketi (Harput Tekstil) which is the first company of Harput Group has been founded in Gokcen Han in the city of Bursa in 1980. Harput Tekstil which has gained a place in the textile sector during 1980-90 has advanced after 1990 during the industrialization era in Turkey with strong and sound steps. Harput Tekstil is one of the most important forces of the group with its sizing and twisting factories in Bursa Demirtas Organized Industrial Area and weaving and ready to wear plants in BTSO Organized Industrial Area.
Our weaving factory that is founded on a 28 000 sqm closed area has reached a monthly capacity of 550 000 fancy fabric production with a total of 143 machines composed of 83 armature (360 cm length) and 60 jacquard weaving machinery and 4 warp preparation machinery. In accordance with our investment plans 157 weaving machinery will be added to the factory. Harput Tekstil Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Sirketi has made its mark in the Turkish home textile sector thanks to its wide and unique product range.
In order to carry out the warp preparations of the fabric within our group investments have been made for machinery at our plant in Demirtas since 1997. Our warp Preparation plant is located on a 8 000 sqm closed area and has 37 2 for 1 twisting machines, 2 polyester sizing machines and 1 cotton sizing machine. With the warp preparation plant Harput Group has advanced one step closer to integrated facilities in the textile sector.
