Nelson Swimsuits has its beginnings in 1958 when HAS ON started yam production. In 1979 the company became the first producer of ready-made garments in Turkey. As the yam production expanded into new areas including muss; HAS ON added swimsuits to its work group in 1972; thus creating the foundation of what then become Nelson today. By that time; HAS ON was a conglomerate made up of different companies In 1980; Nelson was officially formed as an independent company solely focused on swimsuits. Nelson continues to be one of the largest swimsuit producers in Turkey with a yearly production capacity of 500 thousand swimsuits. Beyond its dominance and reputation in the domestic market; it is also a significant exporter to major brands in Germany; France and Spain.
