Mikrotek A.S. has been established in Izmir, in1986. The products and services were mainly focused on industrial processes. Activities starting with the design and production of microcontroller based industrial measurment and control equipment continued with power electronics applications and automation solutions including software development. In industrial measurement field, the well known advantages of microcontroller was reflected to the equipments designed and produced. During 10 years, between 1986 and 1996, Mikrotek produced solutions for marble industry. Products and services that meet customer specifications for total integration in marble sector were produced and applied to more that 200 machines.. In time, works on the power electronics field focused on various static power control units and mainly on DC motor drivers. In the beginning of 90's DC driver production reached up to the 2000 KW rating and the experience gained leaded to realise the full automation projects in hot rolling mill industry. PLC and computer based solutions utilising the new automation and communication technologies yielded to the completion of many projects in various sectors, listed in references section. Our goal is to improve our customers' productivity with the best automation technology and services.
