In 1981, Modern Karton has started to produce packing paper based on waste paper with the capacity of 24000 tons/year. The investments of pulp cellulose facilities in 1987 and the first anaerobic refinery of the paper industry of Turkey in 1988, was followed by an increasing capacity of paper machines and Modern Karton reached a production level of 40.000 tons/year.

Parellel to the sectorial development and the increasing demand, the second assembly line commenced to work with an annual capacity of 50.000 tons per year in 1991. By the modernization investment realised in 1997, the augmenting capacity of paper machine was reached a level of 60.000 tons per year.

The capacity of PM3, completed by an USD150millions investment in 2000, is 200.000 tons per year. The production of the papers of White Top Testliner, Modkraft, Brown Testliner, Testliner3 and Fluting based on %100 recycled paper, was started by PM3.

Modern Karton, located in Corlu, is proud of being one of the world′ most technologically developed foundations with its production technology and automation system of today, its 600.000m2 open and 105.000m2 closed establishments, 350 employees and a yearly 300.000 tons capacity.
