Monomar is a privately owned company and was established in 2007. Monomar produces Demirci Onyx by using a diamond wire cutting method and sells it in blocks.

The block sizes can reach up to 7-8 m3 and weigh more than 20.000 kg, which represents very effective dimensions for gang saw production. These surprisingly huge blocks of onyx have also given the prefix "mono" to our company name: MONOMAR. And MAR comes from onyx marble..

Monomar quarry is approximately 10 hectares and there is a variety of onyx colours and types due to the working level and place. Monomar usually works with two or tree mirror faces and the result is that Monomar has the ability to produce impressive types of onyx.

In addition to the main characteristic colours of the quarry, Monomar also produces what we call selective onyx; brown patterned, book-match, dark and snow white travertine etc..... and this is approximately 30 % of the total production.

Demirci Onyx is mined at Demirci village near Manisa in Turkey. Today, with the increase in its usage fields, the demand for Demirci onyx marble has increased and it has become one of the most requested onyx in the world.

Demirci Onyx is especially used in bathroom, kitchen, hotel, restaurant and mall decoration as an attractive element.
