Namet Food, leader meat producer of Turkey, with passion of Kayar family to their business, pioneer vision and professional management team maintains its growth by planned steps to be the leader in any field of the sector. Products in four main groups such as fresh meat products, delicatessen products, frozen products and further processed products are provided to the consumers by Namet and Maret brands. The company has two production facilities as one of them in Kocaeli Cayirova and the other one in Istanbul Tuzla Tepeoren. As of the end of 2017, approximately 1500 people are directly employed. Farms: Namet covers meat needs related to the production predominately from stock facilities in Sanliurfa and Samsun. Sanliurfa Integrated Stock and Facility is established on an open area of 740 thousand m2.The availability capacity of stock facility is 40 thousand and annual breeding capacity is 60 thousand bovine animals. Moreover, there are two quarantine establishments with 4 thousand 200 animals within the facility in sufficient distance. There are still 40 thousand bovine animals in the farm. Slaughterhouse of the facility has daily 2 thousand 500 ovine animals and 350 bovine animals slaughtering capacity. Quality Certificates The main principle followed by Namet in its industrial activities may be expressed by “We don't produce and sell the products we wouldn't eat.We support any product we produce." Namet Cayirova Factory has TSE product and service compliance certificates with ISO 9001:2008, ISO 22000:2005, IFS V6, BRC V7, FSSC 22000 quality and food safety system certificates.These standards are appplied in production processes.Slicing and packaging processes in many of delicatessen products are carried out untouched by human hands. Maret Factory also provides service by the same understanding, and has TSE product and service compliance certificates with ISO 9001:2008, ISO 22000:2005 ISO:22002:2009, BRC V7, FSSC 22000 quality and food safety system certificates. Moreover, there is approved halal certificate from Turkish Standards Institute. Foreign Trade Namet sustaining controlled growth in foreign trade field still exports meat and meat products to Azerbaijan, TRNC, Afghanistan, Iraq, China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Dubai and Qatar.
