Özdemirler Tekstil, one of the oldest companies established in Usak, aims to increase its competitive power with the aid of printing and finishing investments. The company has realized design systems, screen department, rotary screen printing, stenter and calender investments.

Özdemirler Tekstil is mostly concentrated on printing even though they stepped into textiles with weaving. Important investments for printing were made in the last 2 years, such as singeing, continuous bleaching, drying, rotary and flat screen printing, steaming, stenter, calendering, metering, quality control and packaging. The firm is transferring the patterns, prepared with the aid of Stork’s pattern design system, to Stork EcoLen screen preparation machine for direct screen. Thus, patterns are transferred to screens without films. Fabrics are printed with the patterns, transferred to the screens digitally, on 5 rotary printing machines being 2 Stork Pegasus, 2 Stork RD 4 and 1 Zimmer.
Stork Pegasus machines have 320 cm and 240 cm widths, Stork RD 4 rotary printing machines have 240 cm width, and working width of Zimmer printing machine is 180 cm. Reggiani flat screen printing with 52 meters table length has 320 cm width, and the width of Buser flat screen printing machine with 20 meters of table length is 210 cm. Stork Pegasus machines, with 320 cm and 240 cm widths and that can print 12 colors, have been taken into production in Turkey for the first time by Özdemirler. Firm has 2 flat screen printing machines with trade marks Buser and Reggiani besides 5 rotary printing machines.
Additionally, Özdemirler has taken Brückner stenter, that has 10 chambers and works with natural gas, and Ramisch Guarneri calender into production in 2005. In total 8 stenters are in production with trade marks Artos, Brückner, Monforts, Krantz and LK LH. Halil Özdemir, General Manager of Özdemirler Tekstil has given information about investments and indicated that they invested to technology, and now they have a modern machine park starting from engraving till printing, and that they can print fabrics without any problems. Özdemir has mentioned the importance of having capacity and experience in both printing technologies being rotary and flat screen.
