Samatip

The foundations of Samatip were laid in 1965 by Kuruc Family by the production of the first hospital beds of Turkey. Family company presented the first electric hospital beds and wooden examination tables to the market in 1990. First dining tables with commodes and hydraulic, stainless mayo tables (the tables found in operation rooms which hold operation tools) were also produced in the same year. The company, which has been a pioneer in the hospital furniture sector since its foundations, has achieved another prime point by producing the first colorful ABS hospital beds with the aim of changing the white and cold atmosphere and look of patient rooms. The first patient transfer seat has been produced in 1993 and first electric obstetrical table was released in 1995. The company has been operating under the name of Samatip Hospital Furniture and High Technology Products since 2009. Akfa Holding incorporated Samatip in 2012 and this collaboration helped Samatip gain a production area of 5000 m2 with new facilities, all leading to a higher production capacity as well as brand new collaborations widening the product range. Today, through new synergy options and business opportunities presented by Akfa Holding, which serves all around the world with its 23 companies, 15 of which are national and 8 are international at the fields of Production and Industry, Construction and Electromechanics, Medical and Information Technologies, Samatip is taking firm steps forward and is confident about the future.
