Scrikss Maden and Plastic Incorporated was established in Istanbul, on December the 18th,1963. Among the founders of the company we can see Hayati V. Rodrik, Yako Yahya, Albert Mitrani, Tegolgos Yardimci, Ishak and Yusuf Ender brothers, Sevi brothers who were the well known stationary importers and wholesalers of that period The initial capital of the company was 1.000.000 (one million) Turkish Lira - 1.000,00 YTL. - The company started producing Scrikss branded ball point pens in their own factory in Eski Londra Asfalti, Bahcelievler. The name comes from the word ‘Scribir’ in Catalan language meaning ‘to write’. From this we can see that Scrikss, is a Spanish origin pen company.
