Ahmet Sireci, the founder of Sireci Textile Co. began his business life trading towels, scarves, sheets and similar products in the Grand Bazaar in Gaziantep. In 1981 he went into acrylic yarn trading. For over a decade he dealt with trading of acrylic and some other various types of yarn. After years of experience in yarn trading, Mr. Sireci decided to invest in manufacturing of acrylic and fancy yarns. His industrial endeavor began with manufacturing 7.500 kg of acrylic yarn in 1997. Since then, Sireci Textile Co. has grown rapidly and today it reached up a capacity of 35.000 kg of acrylic and fancy yarns in its four plants. In 1999, dye-house of the company was established in order to provide its customers with the highest quality and shortest delivery time. The company’s products are highly demanded both in the domestic and international market. 75 % of the capacity is marketed domestically and the rest is exported to countries such as England, France, Poland, Spain, Syria, Iran, Russia, Ukraine, North African Countries and Turkic Republics.
