Turan Kagit Ambalaj Insaat A.S.

The founder and the C.E.O of Turan Kagit Ambalaj Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S., Turgut Turan, started his commercial life in paper and packaging sector in 1961 with a little paper bag production machine in Eskisehir. In 1982 Turan Kagit Ambalaj Sanayi Ticaret A.S. was founded in Eskisehir with a capital of 5.000.000 TL. In 1987 the company was awarded with the "Award of Technology Development" by the Association of Manufacturers - Eskisehir, because of its production of the pressed boards. The raw materials of this product were some industrial waste such as aluminium foil, pitched papers and various scrap papers. In 1988 the company was awarded by the Journal of Turkish Manufacturer Association because of its beneficial work in its sector and its contribution to the economy of Turkiye. On the 5th July 1996, Turkish Standards Institute awarded the company because of its efforts on recycling of waste papers as an industrial product. This award was presented on the World Environment Day. Since 1982 Turan Kagit Ambalaj Sanayi Ticaret A.S. has served through its branch offices and its distributers in many cities in Turkiye. In April 1998, the branch office in Izmir was opened. In 1998, this office concentrated on products demanded by the dried and fresh fruit exporters. Besides these products, all kinds of packaging and printing papers are available in Izmir branch office.
