Muammer and Cahit Uyar brothers combined their features of entrepreneurship and craftmanship and they were founded one of the first suitcases company in 1957 with the name of Uyar Saraciye Company. Uyar Saraciye, 55 year later, by taking advantages of the blessing of the tegnology,by following the new trends in the world,by evaluating the world chancing conjucture and the most importantly working very hard;company has 11 the world famous luggage and bag brands and achieved to be the sector pioneer and the sector leader. History 1957 Muammer ve Cahit Uyar brothers were set up the company and during the 8 years the luggages had been produced as hand made. 1965 The first machine production was started. 1980 Moved in the new factory which in Sefakoy and the capacity of production increased 5 times more. 1990 II. Generation Uyars started to manage the company. 1991 The First Turkish luggage brand “GROUND” was introduced to the market. 1993 The fist trolley luggage production was started in Turkey. 1995 The first ABS luggage production was started and first time new designed ABS models introduced the market. 2000 The “belt system” started to be used for manufacturing. 2006 Uyar Saraciye became the distributor of “Nike” bags in Turkey. 2009 Uyar Saraciye became the distributor of “Benetton,Sisley,Camel” and “QuikSilver” brands. 2010 Fornarina “which is one of the most famous Italian brand” joined the Uyar Saraciye to distributed to Turkey. 2012 Company had an agreement with “Calvin Klein” and “Guess” as a Distributor of Turkey.
