VIKO, was founded in 1980 and is the leading company in its sector in Turkey. Its annual production capacity of switches and sockets is 60 million pieces and it manufactures also group sockets, accessories, luminaries, distribution boxes, multi tariff electricity meters and lighting control modules. 500 employees are working at VIKO′s plant in Samandira-Istanbul. The factory covers an area of 12.000 m², with 25.000 m² comprising the built-up area. Soon the factory will move to its new industrial premises on our 53.000 m² property. 45% of the production is being exported to customers in 47 countries. VIKO manufactures solutions for the transfer, distribution and control of electricity and provides the highest quality at all levels form design to production and from sale to service during use of its products on the domestic and tne international market. The quality management system has been implemented in 1998 and in 2002 the ISO 9001:2000 revision has been completed and certified by TSE and DQS. Parallel to the system certification work the Total Quality Management process has been started in order to continuously improve the system according to the EFQM Perfection Model.
