YICHANG THREE GORGES QUAN TONG COATED & GALVANIZED PLATE CO.,LTD. is located in Yi Chang, Hubei Province, nearby the world spotlight Three Gorges Project, the hydroelectric capital city in the world and the tourist city in China. It is a large-scale corporation, and produces galvanized & color coated sheet as its main products. The corporation occupies nearly 3.3 million square meters, with investment of RMB 20 billion yuan, which will achieve an annual production capacity of 10 million tons of coated and galvanized coils, generate an annual output value of RMB 70 billion yuan, and provide jobs over fifteen thousand for society. The natural location contributed much to the construction in our own wharf, with loading and unloading capacity of 6 million tons every year, which decreased operation cost, increased competitive strength greatly. Now more than 70 professional researchers in our Design Institute, including 4 professors, 8 chief engineers and 20 senior engineers. The company now has six utility model patents, such as full hydraulic eight high tandem cold mill, hydraulic six high skin-pass-mill, roller change device special for eight high tandem cold mill etc.; many invention patents such as Zn- Al-Mg-Si-RE hot-dip galvanized steel sheet, forward air-cooling for hot-dip zinc-based hot-dip galvanized steel strips etc.. We own the first new-style cold-rolling line named as eight-high five stand cold rolling line, which is researched and manufactured by ourself. The eight high pickling -cold rolling line is the origination in this field. In addition, eight high cold mill owns independent intellectual property, and has applied for a patent in many countries. Our products are widely used in construction materials, automobile industry, household appliances, light-industry products, instruments, toys, nails, beverage package, decorative material etc. Such sorts of the products not only make the problem of longterm import relying settled, but also can be exported by large quantity.
