Zey-Tur-San Gida A.S

1930 Ahmet Hamdi Ersoy was an olive trader, sending baskets of olives by boats and other vessels from his home in Gemlik to his brother, Osman Ersoy, in Istanbul. 1952 Ahmet Hamdi Ersoy sent his middle son Ibrahim Ersoy to Istanbul to open one of Istanbul’s first olive shops. 1982 Discerning the need in the pickle market, the Ersoy and Tufekcioglu families bought two thousand square meters in Gedelek Village in the Orhangazi district of Bursa, and founded the Zey-Tur-San company. 1983 Zey-Tur-San started manufacturing. 1984 Zey-Tur-San manufactured the first pasteurized pickles in the country of Turkey. 1985 Zey-Tur-San started manufacturing under the Berrak brand. In the same year, Zey-Tur-San shipped the first pasteurized pickle, as an export of Turkey to Germany. Gallery 1990 Zey-Tur-San renewed the logo for our Berrak brand. 1990 Zey-Tur-San partnered with Poupon Reitzel Industries Holding (P.R.I.Group) Reitzel, Switzerland’s 90-year-old pickle, vinegar, and mustard company. 1991 Zey-Tur-San started customized productions by making agreements with world famous fast food chains, and became one of the largest pickle suppliers. 2006 The production area of our factory was extended to 25 thousand m2 and the annual vegetable processing capacity was raised to 8 thousand tons. 2010 Due to the Istanbul-Izmir Highway Project, the facility in Gedelek was expropriated. The construction of our 86 thousand m2 new factory was started in Gemic. The 2.7-acre wooded area of the land was made into a living space for orphaned animals. 2010 We opened the www.tursu.com.tr webpage in order to sell our Berrak brand on the Internet. 2012 We renewed our Berrak logo and Zey-Tur-San corporate identity. In this same year, our Berrak brand became the sponsor of Altin Elbiseli Adam [Man in Golden Dress] TV show at SKYTURK. Gallery 2013 We started manufacturing the EV brand. 2014 The BPlas Company belonging to the Gokcen Family, one of the most respected families of Turkey, with 150 years of experience in industrial production, became our partner by purchasing majority shares. BPlas is the largest automotive parts supplier in Turkey. BPlas was established in 1987 under the management of Honorable Celal Gokcen. 2015 The manufacturing capacity in the Gemic facility doubled. 2016 We offered our Berrak brand for sale at hepsiburada.com, n11.com and Getir. Our capacity increased to 9000 tones with orders from all over the world. In the same year, we started therapeutic sponsoring for of veterinary clinics through HAYTAP (Animal Rights Federation) to support the treatment of orphaned animals, with the motto “All Beings Are One”. 2017 Zey-Tur-San became the sole pickle supplier of one of the world’s biggest fast food chain in Europe, Middle East and Africa, excluding Germany. Its production capacity was also increased to 15.000 tons of vegetables.
