The history of Elektrod-Bor LLC began on the basis of the electrode workshop of the Nizhny Novgorod Teplokhod plant. The Teplokhod plant was founded in 1911 by Nizhny Novgorod industrialist Dmitry Vasilyevich Sirotkin. The production of electrodes for welding at the plant began in the 30s of the 20th century. After the war, the plant became a large metal processing enterprise. The demand for welding electrodes is increasing. Therefore, in 1946, a site for the production of electrodes was organized. The countdown of electrode production time begins with it. Our clients are shipbuilding and ship repair yards, large industrial plants, metallurgical and machine-building enterprises, enterprises included in JSC Russian Railways, agricultural and construction organizations, metal depots, and energy companies. The Electrod-Boron company has enormous experience accumulated over more than half a century of electrode production history. We have devoted a lot of time and resources to researching the products of our Western colleagues. The result was the introduction of significant changes in the technology for preparing welding coating. High-quality, carefully selected, sorted and prepared components made it possible to obtain electrodes that are in no way inferior, and in some respects superior to Western samples.
