The Institute's mission is to protect, enhance and promote the truly original Italian product. The Institute is the only national body registered with the CNEL, since 2004, with the function of protecting, enhancing and promoting Made in Italy. In the area of protection, over the years the Institute has drawn up numerous legislative proposals which it has submitted to the competent bodies. In order to make clear the right value of the product made in Italy, the 100% Made in Italy Certification was developed and made operational. La Piazza, Il Salotto Buono - is aimed at relaunching Italy through the redevelopment and relaunch of the square as a good living room for provinces or specific territories. Furthermore, a Made in Italy Code of Ethics has been drawn up in order to give greater consistency to all the factors that influence the creation of the product.
