The SONAGRI (National Agricultural Society) is an umbrella partner of a dozen cooperatives working in food crops and in perennial crops (coffee, cocoa, rubber industry, oil palm etc.) throughout Central West Cote d'Ivoire : Soubré San-Pedro Oumé, Yamoussoukro, Toumodi, Man, Gagnoa, Bouaflé, Sinfra, Divo and Lakota. These major area of production of cocoa beans of good quality with a production of nearly 100,000 tons of beans per year. SONAGRI will federate nearly 20,000 'cocoa' farmers who accumulate more than 30,000 tons of cocoa beans and coffee a year; As well as fruit products of all kinds. SONAGRI is an AGRICULTURAL POOL whose purpose is the production and processing of agricultural and agropastoral products, Purchase and marketing of agricultural products, Transport of goods, Import-export, Miscellaneous. Sonagri would like this pool to meet the need for food and food self-sufficiency and development of the Ivorian agriculture in particular and that of Africa.
