The company was established in Istanbul in 1976. ARITAS started its activity by producing water treatment facilities on a turn key basis, in 1980′s the company′s main production and specialty was concentrated on creogenic and in 1990′s production of water treatment facilities was totally stopped. Village Services and Monopoly factory (Alasehir, Suma), which are still going concerns, are products of ARITAS Water Treatment Facilities. ARITAS, started its activity in 1976 as a small workshop, today is a company with 4.000 m2 in-door and 2.500 m2 out-door production area with total area of 16.000 m2.

Our quality and management systems got ISO 9000 certificate in 2000 and AD Merkbleatter HPO certificate in 2001. In 2003 they were updated as ISO 9000:2000 and AD2000 Merkbleatter HPO.

Our team of nearly 100 employees, each one being a specialist in his field, provides services of sale, engineering and consulting in an area of 16.000 m2.




BRIEF HISTORY

1976 - Divsan LTD was established to produce compulsory valves used in city distribution systems of potable water.

1978 - Serial production of home and military (trailer and back types) module water treatment systems started.

1981 - The company continued its activity by establishing a joint-stock company under the name of ARITAS Water Treatment Industry JSC and started producing home and industrial waste water facilities on a turn key basis.

1982 - The company moved to its current place in Tuzla.

1983 - It accelerated its activities in the field of pressure containers industry and handed over its first transport and stationary creogenic tanks. This way the company has become active in both fields of refining facilities and creogenic tanks.

1984 - Producing of all clorine tanks for Istanbul and Ankara water administration was fullfilled.

1990 - ARITAS, concentrated on the field of pressure containers, has totally stopped producing of refining facilities in 1990.

1993 - First export of creogenic tanks was done to Lebanon and Iran.

1998 - Due to its exceptional knowledge of welding during 2 years the company produced aluminium balance caterpillar treads, military supplies, tank rescue supplies for the Army.

1999 - The company got the right for AQAP-120 certificate – a production adequacy document valid for all armies of the NATO coountries. (At the moment the AQAP-120 certificate has been expired due to the quitting of military production and hasn’t been updated).

2000 - The quality guarantee system of ARITAS got the right for ISO 9002 and AD Merkbleatt HPO certificates.

2001 - 1500 pressure containers were produced.

2002 - An export department was established.

2004 - The certificates were updated to ISO 9000:2000 and AD2000 Merkbleatt HPO. Our production of pressure containers reached nearly 2000 units.
