In the past 10 years Beto Group has grown into a major player in buying and selling Black Tiger shrimps for the European market At this moment in time, Beto Group produces a volume of 80 tons per for weeks, growing by 30% every year since. Beto Group primarily aims for the mid-size to large scale gross selling companies in deep frozen and fresh fish industry. We were thus able to generate a large produce in both The Netherlands and other Southern European countries. Our trade aims for honest and clear deals with our customers, in which reliability is an all important factor. Beto Group works through a unique end honest vision and has been able to develop that into international cooperative meaningful relationships in importing and export. A vision in buying and selling that has worked greatly for Beto Group in the past and is fully successful still. Beto Group independently buys and produces its’ shrimps, mainly in Bangladesh. Recently we took ownership of our very own production plant in Bangladesh, leading to immediate expansion of the plant and fishery. We became a trustworthy partner in our cooperation with the European Union, through which we gained European grants, leading to immediate necessary BRC, HACCP. and Global G.A.P. certifications for the European end U.S. market. We were able to phase out a significant deal of in-between parties, banks and agents from the chain of produce. This means we can offer and guarantee an honest price for all of our products. We have been able to bring thousands of tons of Black Tiger shrimps onto the European market. In our history, our cargo has never been disapproved by customs-authorities or other third party health and foodsafety organizations. Largely because of our honest and transparent way of working, Beto Group has proven to be a competitive partner. Beto Group carries the Certificate of Origin Form-A, which provides our trade with Bangladesh with a 12% price-reduction on import duty and VAT. This means we can calculate an even lower price to our customers. This reduction has been called into life to further improve trade with Bangladesh. Our mission is to ensure that people from Bangladesh are well looked after. We do everything we can to monitor working conditions and to steer and guide wherever we can. All of our workers are fully insured (health and medication) and we provide their children with a 5 day a week basic education and learning materials. Beto Group has done this for the past 6 years an we will continue to do so. As we uphold an honest, transparent and sustainable method of working, we have in the past 10 years been able to cooperate intensively with the Bengal government and of course our hardworking and loyal Bengal employees!
