Iskenderun Gubre Sanayii A.S. (Iskenderun Fertilizer Industry Inc.) has started production in 2008 at its Akcay - Iskenderun facilities . Annual production capacity is 400.000 metric tons of NP / NPK compound fertilizers as well as granular Ammonium Sulphate and Potassium Sulphate. The storage capacity is 100.000 mtons at Iskenderun and 50.000 mtons at Fatsa facilities. Together with its own production, Iskenderun Gubre complements its full line of fertilizers with imports from major producers in Russia, Ukraine, Tunisia etc. Iskenderun Gubre markets its fertilizers in cooperation with with its parent company "OST Olgun Dis Ticaret A.S." which was established in 1976 and has become one of the leading fertilizer distributors in Turkey. Iskenderun Gubre and OST Olgun market their full line of fertilizers through a network of distributors all around the country and also supplies all prominent cooperative unions including "Pankobirlik - Sugar Beet Growers Cooperatives Union", "Cukobirlik - Cotton Growers Cooperatives Union", "TIGEM - Agricultural Produce Industry General Management", "Sugar Factories Inc." etc. Iskenderun Gubre and OST Olgun are also major exporters of fertilizers to different countries including "Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Tunis, Algeria, Albania, Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroun, Angola, Sudan, Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda, Mozambique, Madagascar, Pakistan, India and Bangladesh"
