Joints are needed to be left at some points of concrete and reinforced concrete buildings.As it is known, the expansion and contraction actions in the buildings are too big and constantly repetitive movements to be neglected. Besides, buildings are exposed to horizontal or vertical movements due to the movements of the ground under the building.
