Our company has been maintaining, repairing and cleaning storage tanks of molasses (less fluidity waste liquid), fuel oil, diesel oil, vinasse (solid potassium sulfate) since 2000, in 27 pieces of sugar factories of Turkish Sugar Factories Inc. Co. which stay in various provinces. Dimensions of storage tanks cleaned by us are changed between 3000 m3 and 80.000 m3. Our Cleaning Stages: Manhole covers are opened (top and bottom), and are atttached blower fans on the both two covers and fuel vapor is evacuated. Fuel vapor in the tank is measured by explosimeter (light audible warning device which measures the hazard limit). When flammable gas rate comes from down of 5% and oxygen rate increases higher than 20%, gas discharging work is terminated and cleaning work is started. Blower fans are operated until the end of the work. The permissible level of fuel vapor is measured continuously with explosimeters. For all electrical equipments and tools are used explosion-proof equipments. 3 people are sent into the storage tanks after dressed metal free overalls, gas masks, boots, helmets and vest. One of the staff has a duty to constantly check on the outside of the tank as a safety chief. One of the staff constantly checks explosimeter and the staff. He closes 30 meters pedestrian area around the tank for vehicular traffic and deploys vehicles in such a way that they will not handicap for the intervention of firefighters. Safety belt and grab line are kept close by tank manhole. Brush, shovel, putty knife, rakes are made from non-sparking material to be used in the tank. The residue of waste material are transferred by pumps to hazardous waste carrying vehicles and is transported to disposal facilities. Also we can deliver these wastes to recycling facilities which has notarized contractual agreement with us. We transport dirty water used in cleaning stages to appropriate places by consulting with the municipality of area. Rust, sludge, scum are taken from tank, tank is washed, dried and delivered. Manhole cover gasket and screws are replaced with new ones and are mounted covers. Cleaning works are operated by 5 people for each storage tanks. We finish cleaning works of 10,000 m3 tank within 20 working days, of 5,000 m3 within 14 working days, of 2,500 m3 tank within 8 working days. Our company is a recycling facility which has got environment license associated with the cleanliness of 02 04 99 code of molasses tank bottom sediments by the ministry of environment and urban. We manufacture miniblock licking buckets by using molasses tank bottom sediments in recycling facility. Our company manufactures with the capacity of 1400 tonnes and with 2 molasses tanks in 4000 m2 facility area. EFOR YEM PREMIKS INDUSTRY and TRADE INC.
