Founded in 1967, Izmir/TURKEY, our company has been producing especially hand knittingyarns as well as special looped and warp yarns which look like 100 % wool hand spinning semi-worsted yarns which are used in producin
hand-made carpets. Akisteks is also an expert in producing various kinds of carpet yarn with guaranteed fast-dyeing.

Total yarn production is 720.000 Kg per year. Our integrated mill consist of the follwing sections;

PREPARATION AND CARDING

Worsted & Semi-Worsted: Top carding and group of preparation machines.
Carded: It′s formed of 3,5 phases carding machine which is suitable for highly sensitive, thin wool mixed yarn.

YARN

Thsi section consists of;
- 832 spindles worsted (2 Rings 65Ø) 15-36 Nm yarn,
- 500 spindles semi-worsted (3 Rings 75Ø-130Ø) 3-12 Nm yarn,
- 728 spindles carded (2 Rings 90Ø)
Our mill can produce single and multi-plied yarn made of wool and acrylic mixtures, dye fiber and hang yarn.

WEAVING

It′s especially aimed at weaving wool blankets 1,5-2,5 mt. Width range.
Our weaving capacity is 150.000 pieces Per year.Besides blanket weaving, our mill can also produce wowen fabrics.

FINISHING

Washing, rising processes for blankeds and wool fabrics.

OTHERS

Every kind of yarn we produce are made ready upon customer′s request such as twisting, bobbin (auto coner - splicer), hang, ball and fluffy yarn.
