Established in 1977, Boykar Machinery has been involved in the defense industy for manufacturing spare parts of tracked and wheeled vehicles since 1984. In 1992, the company has started producing it is own products for the howitzer modernization projects of Turkish Land Forces. Since 2004, Boykar has been manufacturing reduction gear boxes and optical fire control systems of the Firtina (K-9) Howitzer. Boykar also manufactures special tools and products for the different factories of Mechanical and Chemical Industry Corporation of Turkey.
