We are the current generation of families that have been engaged in farming in Finike for many generations. Our grandfathers started citrus production more than a hundred years ago by removing the cotton fields and planting the orange saplings, which are said to come from the island of Rhodes, instead. During this time, orange, lemon, grapefruit and tangerine varieties were produced.
