SEARCH -1 is used to suppress mainly carbon dioxide corrosion at a low content of hydrogen sulfide in the oilfield environment (less than 10-15 mg/l). SEARCH -2 is designed to combat hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide corrosion, at a concentration of H2S more than 10-15 mg/l. SEARCH -3 possesses the properties of a corrosion inhibitor and a bactericide that suppresses the vital activity of sulfate-reducing bacteria.
