Esfahan Food Industry Complex

The Isfahan food company (private company) under trade name of Aida (like the moon) was established in 1959 on a 7000m2 field in front of Menarjonban monument. The old factory, of great antiquity about half of a century, manufactured various products such as tomato paste, canned, salted, pickled vegetables and jams. It was the first factory in Isfahan conversion industries. On 1995 this factory was purchased by Central Union of Rural and Agricultural Cooperatives and production was stopped because of the old and exhausted production line machines, locating within a city, proximity to tourist centers, environmental issues and the necessity of compliance plan development. The new factory was built in 1998 over 7 acres land in Khomeini Shahr with 100 billion Rials investment and its production activities started under international brand Aida on 2003 on birthday of Imam Ali in the presence of minister of agriculture. This complex with a full-automatic ROSSI & CATELLI production line (continuous) purchased from Italy, equipped laboratory, production and development halls, side warehouses, water supply, wastewater treatment, technical facilities, conference hall and amphitheater, and other administrative buildings is one of the most incomparable factories in Iran. Capacity The nominal capacity of this complex consists of one hundred thousand tons of tomato and other kinds of fruits annually, and the amount of employment creation is over 200 people that provide sustainable economic development and secure market for supplying agricultural products in Isfahan and other provinces. The main goal of Aida group is to develop the association between industry and university with agriculture in order to enhance productivity and products quality; and to achieve international standards and the effective and continuous presence in international markets.
