HARUN SOCKS has started socks business as a small family company and is in business since 1975. At the very beginning, we served for the other well established companies with our production capacity.

We started to sell our production under our own registered trade mark HARUN SOCKS, in 1982. To be able to serve better our customers either in Turkey or abroad, three brothers of OCAK family; Abdullah, Ismail, and Mustafa became shareholders in Harun Socks Textile Manufacturing. Ind. , in 1995. We have moved to a new building with a total area of 3500 m2 to serve better the growing number of customers and orders. Our new building is in Terazidere-Bayrampasa- Istanbul, 15 minute-drive by car from the airport, where the socks industry is well established. We have reached to the capacity of 750 000 pairs of socks monthy which manufactured, with mechanical and latest model computerised machines.

Then, came the sister company, I.M.A EXPORT &IMPORT LTD . in 2001, to serve the foreign customers and representatives of foreign companies directly and most important of all, on time. All the staff in all areas are well aware of the importance of delivery on time and feel the stress of the serving by the best way to the customer.We are proud of exporting almost 80 % of our production.

HARUN SOCKS has a principle of buying high quality yarns of cotton, mercerized cotton, elasthan-lycra, polyamid-nylon, acrylic,lenzing,viscose,space-dyed, from producers with Okotex certificates. Harun Socks also holds this certificate for cotton/polyamid/elasten and the other yarns of combinatrions like (co/pes/pa), (co/pa/el), (pan/wo/pa/el), (wo/pan/co/el), (co/pan/pa/el) (cv/co/pa/el) according to Öko-tex standard 100 test No.03.T.3633 FI Hohenstein.
